Interested in learning this fascinating and versatile art form with roots in the ancient world but which has successfully adapted to the contemporary world?
There are currently two mosaic classes at Liddelow. Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon. The classes are interchangeable with members having the option of attending one or both of the classes. Entry to classes is dependant on there being a vacancy as numbers are capped. Those with some mosaic experience can be admitted subject to vacancies. However, those with no prior experience are encouraged to attend an introductory day in preparation for joining class.
As a class member you have the choice of working on a project of your own choice or the ‘term challenge’ set by instructor. Members are required to provide their own materials and tools and work under the guidance of an experienced mosaic artist.
We work with all regular mosaic materials i.e. ceramic, glass, smalti and china and a variety of styles.
